The tour covers all of the interesting places and almost all of the territory of Albania. Albania is an old and rich of history land, crossroad of many empires, religions, cultures and people.

There is no other Balkan, even European country with so rich religious diversity, but still united in one strong national identity. Albanian language is the oldest European one and the main reason the Albanian folk to be united, no mater they are still divided between the neighboring countries.

In 10 days we will see 9 cities, the Adriatic and the Ionian seas, 2 archeological reserves, 2 UNESCO towns, 4 Medieval Forts, endless beautiful views of the Albanian nature.


Day 1 Tirana

Arriving at Tirana and transfer from the airport to the hotel. City tour of the city center with a local guide. The stories he will give us will give as very good impression of Albania and Albanian culture. Because it is our first day and evening, we can enjoy together the delicious local food.

Day 2 – Tirana – Dures – Vlore

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Dures for about 40 min. Short, but interesting stop on the oldest and most important cities in Albania. Rich of history, Dures is a charming place with its preserved medieval towers, Ottoman mosques and many others beautiful places. Lunch in Dures and transfer to Vlore.

On the way down we will stop on the archeological site Apollonia near to Fier. Vlore is the second important harbor in Albania and played important role in the history of the country. Visiting the city center. Free time in the afternoon.

Day 3 – Vlore – Llogara pass – Saranda

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Saranda via the most beautiful mountain pass on the Adriatic coastline – Llogara. Enjoying the view, we will stop on some historical places as Porto Palermo Castle and some small old villages. Lunch in Saranda. In the afternoon we will visit the biggest archeological site in Albania – Butrint. Free time in the evening.

Day 4 – Saranda – Gjirocaster

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Gjirokaster. City tour of maybe the most beautiful Albanian town. Gjirokaster is included in UNESCO as a cultural site. A lot of important persons and movements originate from here. We will visit the Old town, the excellent preserved Fort, the museum of Enver Hodzha and the biggest 18th century house in the town. Free time in afternoon.

Day 5 – Gjirocaster – Korce

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Korce via some second-class roads trough the deep countryside of Albania. This adventure will give us the opportunity to see the real life in the small villages and towns. Korce is another one of the old places, connected very tight with the Orthodox Christian culture. After the lunch we will visit the small village of Moskopolje, which is an open-air museum of 18th – 19th century. Free evening in Korce.

Day 6 – Korce – Berat

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Berat, the second UNESCO site in Albania. Berat with its fascinating Fortress and Old town will makes us fall in love. Free time in the Afternoon.

Overnight in Berat.

Day 7 – Berat – Kruje

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Kruje, the capital of the medieval Albanian principality of Georg Kastrioti Skanderbeg. We will visit the medieval fortress there and the museum dedicated of the Skanderbeg. Free time in the afternoon.

Day 8 – Kruje – Valbona

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Valbona national park, which is a piece of the Heaven.  We will spend the afternoon walking around and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the area.

Day 9 – Valbona – Tirana

Breakfast and start of the day at 9:00. Transfer to Tirana. Visiting “BunkArt” museum, an interesting exposition, placed in an original bunker. The museum is a combination of the original bunker and some multimedia expositions. Free time in the evening.
